The scope covered bespoke joinery to three bedrooms, together with full decorative panelling across three separate bathrooms. Each area required its own design approach, detailing and finish, resulting in a highly coordinated package with numerous interfaces between joinery, wall finishes, sanitaryware, lighting, ironmongery and surrounding architectural elements. The level of detail required throughout the project was significant. Dimensions, panel positions, shadow gaps, door alignments, junctions, reveals and internal layouts had to be coordinated to millimetre accuracy before manufacture. Detailed drawings and specifications were reviewed continuously to ensure every component could be manufactured correctly and installed without compromising the overall design intent. The finishing package was equally demanding. A wide range of spray-painted colours and finishes had to be managed across different rooms and individual joinery elements, requiring careful control of colour references, samples, preparation, spraying sequences and final matching. With multiple components progressing simultaneously, production and finishing had to be carefully programmed to avoid delays while maintaining consistency and quality throughout. The restricted programme added another level of complexity. Design development, final measurements, manufacturing, spray finishing and installation all had to progress within approximately two months, leaving very little tolerance for error or rework. Close coordination between the workshop and site teams was therefore essential, with each stage planned around the next to maintain momentum without compromising the quality of the finished product.
